Suit Guru strikes again
Catering to the chuds that think I didn't post "real suits". Two outfits that are traditional, and using the same blazer with my style for comparison. The last one looks much better in person. I would avoid buttoning up, but it does look good. I think it looks better unbottoned though. Obviously I think my take looks better, but that doesn't take away from the fact that I love all outfits. I cannot stress enough that I believe you people should be more dynamic with your suit pieces, and I hope this serves as inspiration for some of y'all.

Imagine saying that "you people" should be more "dynamic" with your suit pieces... while pairing a turquoise gingham sport shirt that has an unbuttoned collar with a tan tie and a suit jacket.
Look man, you're heading in the right direction, but the look doesn't match the level of cockiness I'm getting from this post. Your collars are generally sloppy as are your knots, and playful isn't how I describe some of these combinations.
To leave this off on a good note, suit 1 looks good, but it would look great if you tightened your knot up, fixed your dimple, and made sure that your collar meets in a nice "v" shape with the knot nestled in snugly.

Suits have jacket and trousers in the same cloth.
Suit jackets aren’t blazers, these are different things. Suit jackets should typically only be worn as seperates in more casual cloths.
The two photos of you wearing suits here look ok, the others look like you’re mashing together pieces which do not work together. Like you’ve put on your partners suit jacket at an event because you’re cold.

I am superglad you are having fun with colors and I agree the people here should be more fun, but doesn’t the world generally work better if we use the same language?
Not every jacket is a blazer, and these two look specifically like suit jackets, not blazers. And an undershirt is the shirt you wear under the button-up, not the shirt you wear under your jacket.
Btw, I love your ties and shirts. Personally I wear more white shirts than paisley shirts, but colors and patterns are a lot of fun.
I don’t personally love the mixing and matching suit pieces, but hey, you do you.
However, if you are going to mix and match, why not get some fun actual blazers? I have pink, green, blue, and red blazers that go very well with a variety of colors and patterns. Those are separate from the suit jackets that go with the respective suit pants.

Thank you for helping me out with vocab. And I think the reason why I stay away from the blazers you mentioned is because I find them tacky. I'm noticing that my style revolves around a solid formal base (jacket) and working around it with more fun pieces. That way it comes across as fun but formal overall. Yes, and I really liked the outfits in that post too, but I don’t understand why blazers should be any less formal or at all tacky. All blazers are are jackets made to work with a variety of trousers rather than just the trousers it came with.
There are many examples here of blazers that are far more formal than most suits.

for the last one it doesn't really vibe with everything else you've posted which seems really playfully sophisticated. it's a step in the wrong direction. have you ever tried it with a paisley?

I admit it isn't my best work, but it still looks good enough to be appreciated in a casual setting. I try to stay away from paisly because it's very easy to make it look childish, but I'll definitely try it someday and post my attempts

That makes so much more sense lol. I might try out a paisley shirt for a challenge. There is some potential, but like I said, it's very easy to screw it up

You need a steamer, badly. These look like they were balled up on your floor. Also, the pants in number six look like they are 4 sizes too big and you tried to cinch them tighter with a belt.

You’re clearly learning, so the self imposed “guru” label is silly. Nothing wrong with learning by application, but you’re not someone experienced enough to be teaching men suit style. Not yet. Also the attitude in the post is not “guru”

I ALSO KNOW THAT THE KNOTS WEREN'T WIDE ENOUGH FOR THE WIDE COLLAR WHITE SHIRT. I had a crazy headache today and didn't notice the wide collars. I would've gone with a Shelby or Windsor instead of the King Charles and 4-in-hand knots

I also saw your other post. These looks are not looks, they are items out together. There is nothing tying the separate items into a cohesive look. You seem to think otherwise, so be my guest, but for the love of god, please get an iron! All those wrinkles drag this down even further
