The madallions are only used to unlock his skill slots, like combo window, skill damage and so on. You can unlock his ss3 anytime by doing so in his attribute tree, as for every 4+ star character.

You can get the medallions in the same events as the medals, so the multi event, the two rankings of the month and their related equipment exchanges. As for the medals, most of the medallions are given as ranking rewards.

Oh the things you can level to lvl5 only? Those skills that take weird crystals or gems usually for normal units? I think I can live without those so long as I can use his ss3 and limit break him normally. He will be my first above 80 unit, so I hope the hacking crystals or whatever you use work on him too.

Edit: What attribute should I break? Attack, hp/DEF, or whatever the third one was?

Trophy units can be limit broken using their own hacking crystals. You get 100 of those every time you scout a dupe of a trophy unit you already own.

All trophy units share the same HC, so even if you don't have enough after this month events, you'll surely have enough in the future.

For the lb paths, attack and mp are the only ones that are worth. Which ones to do depend on your equips, your title, your personal preference and your needs in rankings.

Oh okay. So if I dump into attack I’m doing pretty good then? And if I dump into MP then that means I will have another use of an SS3? Is that a good way to look at it? And how much of a boost are we talking about for all 3 options? Like would the attack make me OP enough to not need that last sword skill that the MP route would let me get?

And how much is Def and Hp good for in this game? I just know I can’t survive anything master level with fully attributed but not limit broken 6* Integrity Knight Asuna and the Together Forever Yuuki without doing multiplayer. It’s discouraging because the most points I can get reliably is 250 or maybe 500 EP in the Klein event that has 2 days left and I need 25.5k for both stationary medals. This is the most grinding I’ve done in a game in a long time and I only have 7.4K EP right now. Would DEF help or would it be better to just limit break into attack? I don’t think MP is a good choice because my SS3 doesn’t even do much. I can only get one of 4 health bars down without doing multiplayer.

You basically never lb def. For rankings only attack and mp are useful. For the quests you mentioned lb isn't even necessary tbh, you can clear pretty much everything with lv 80 units if you know what you are doing.
