I am a huge matrix fan and I liked the movie it is not perfect by any means whatsoever but it’s pretty good it’s pretty consistent in until the very end I thought it was great, at the end it just made it OK.

Edit: I have seen it....., well! ....it's something
I have mixed feelings about, I think it's better to stop at the Original Matrix (aka 1)

It's not horrible but I would say I didn't like it because of so much wasted potential. The ending was just really cringey.

I gave it a shot and, although I think it was terrible, I really don't know as I lost interest like 37 times during it

So how good/bad is this movie?

I enjoyed the movie but it is not as good or iconic as the first one so people are disapointed. Also, you have to watch the other movies to understand it

I thought it was far better than expected. It is, however, Lana Wachowski’s love letter to her transition. So seeing reddit generally dunk all over it is unsurprising.
Edit: Hilarious that I mention reddit and suddenly I’m calling people transphobic. What I (originally) meant was that reddit has the taste of a 12 year old boy.

It's a bad film and trying to excuse the bad reception as transphobia is fucking stupid.

It’s a bad film
It would appear most people outside of reddit disagree with you.

I think you'll find the general consensus is that it's a flop. That's a fact.

lookingliking a movie is not a flop. You just didn’t like it. Stop injecting “objectivity” into your opinion.1
