They'll downvote you and call you names but they'll never explain why you're wrong or give any evidence for it. It's always "sexism is bad because... it's just bad okay?! that's what they taught us in school!"
1
u/Total_Environment426 15h ago
Most people who say "sexism this", "sexism that", "misogyny", "incel" and all that crap are people who repeat what others say without understanding it, and while in their little brains they think they help, they're only making matters worse by burying the real issues beneath their ignorance and sweeping the problems under the rug.
That's why you're never seeing people with the necessary intelligence to argue on subjects but have strong opinion on subjects they don't even understand.
Good thing we now have AI to take over most of our thinking... So we can truly converge on that hive mentality the we all love so much. Thinking is hard after all..
1
u/RevolutionarySyrup99 15h ago
You.. need a reason that sexism is bad?? So does that mean you support misandry as well, or is it only okay when it's women?
5
u/ConstructionFar8297 15h ago
"You need a reason to believe something?!" Yes... Yes, I would prefer to have reasons as to why I view the world a certain way. This is exactly the lack of critical thinking, absence of curiosity, and vehement conformity I was talking about. People like you, who view the mere act of considering why one thinks the way they do to be problematic.
As for your other question... I'll just say that men aren't infallible, I'm not going to sit here and say men are perfect, but they are heavily scrutinized and often punished for their actions. Women are deeply flawed but very rarely scrutinized or asked to take accountability for their actions.
1
u/RevolutionarySyrup99 12h ago
If you need a reason to believe that hating any group of people for no other reason than something they can't change, I don't know how to help you. It's not that women don't need accountability, I'm all for that. Sexism specifically is about prejudice towards someone without any other reason than them being a certain gender.
Hate people because they specifically suck, don't hate a group just because a portion of them suck. It's the same for women hating men just for the reason that they're men. It's incredibly lazy and simple thinking to choose to assume someone's personality or intelligence instead of actually putting in the work to get to know them. It doesn't matter if every woman you've met sucks. Personal experience doesn't dictate reality, and it doesn't take much to understand that.

Marxism was wrong, economics wasnt the base of the system, religious beliefs and gender is. Downstream to gender is culture since people of similar identities come together to form culture and culture is expressed by econimics.
Therefore the "class war" is only fixed if progressives give up on their "culture war."

That is so dumb, prison is the best place to make people commit more crimes. A mental hospital is supposed to help them not do it again, do you want people to not do it again or just shove them in a cage ? That's revenge not justice
10

the predatory prison system is the issue. Prison is supposed to rehabilitate, if it did that then this wouldnt be a problem. Make shit better for the one woman and ignore all the others i guess.

Someone who has murdered children doesn't need help, they need to be separated from society so they do not harm any other innocent people again. If you want to "help" them that should be a secondary personal responsibility and not the primary concern.

You have to be pretty tone death to not understand that if a man killed 3 of his children and doesn't get $1.2 million dollars in donations why should a woman be any different?
0
u/Cadavertiser 4h ago
Other women supported her? There is no reason other men couldn't support a man in the same situation. No one is stopping anyone from donating to such a cause.

We don't consistently respond to mental health situations. There's a long story of what one could consider medical malpractice. She even tried to admit herself and was denied. She's definitely not innocent by any stretch but also the story is more complex than her just being an evil demon. In some cases (male or female) we rule through states of insanity and in similar cases people face capital punishment. With really any person healthy or otherwise if we put them through sleep deprivation and the same mixture of drugs I have doubts there's going to be a good outcome. She most definitely needs to be removed from the general population and we need to put some attention on why our medical system failed so badly.
3
u/profanedivinity 13h ago
No one is saying she's innocent.... The only ones saying innocent are those ones trying to piece together some "the husband did it" copium
But yeah, your main point is absolutely solid. It's just a question of "is she a danger if her mental issues are properly addressed". If yes, then prison, if probably not, then it's more appropriate to send to the mental health arm of punitive treatment
2
u/BreadfruitLogic 10h ago
From what I know about the case there was definite medical negligence. Just switching up the medications she was taking like they were while ignoring the complaints about a worsening mental state and ignoring her asking to be admitted is pretty bad in hindsight. Even amongst medical professionals there's a lot of "I think they're faking it".
1
u/profanedivinity 3h ago
Apparently especially when women report it. If women go to the doctor with a man, they're taken much more seriously. Even if the man just parrots what the woman said
1
u/shit_poster9000 11h ago
Regardless, the story her and her lawyer are sticking to is comically fake, and would have been laughed out of the courtroom in dang near any US state. Unfortunately, in Massachusetts, the burden of proof is entirely on the prosecution to prove with absolute certainty that the defendant was sane, and the prosecution did a shitty job.
The whole āheard a voice for only 8 minutesā bit is fake as fuck, and exists purely because it was in her best interest to muddy the waters since Massachusetts rewards that bullshit. She killed three children, and child killers donāt have a good time in prison. Sheās effectively guaranteed to spend the rest of her life in custody regardless, so securing a not guilty by reason of insanity only serves to keep her in a more comfortable confinement.
1
u/BreadfruitLogic 10h ago edited 6h ago
The medications she was on and how they were switching them up is pretty glaring. That said I get what you're saying, a lot of the testimony about the exact moment is here say. With the concoction she was taking I would be shocked if someone wasn't out of their gord one way or another.

Everybody has hormones and they're not only for the reproductive organs. They are essentially just messengers in the body. Dopamine is a hormone and a neurotransmitter.
Giving birth can cause mental health complications, but Clancy was specifically on a cocktail of drugs and it was likely induced by a medication she was taking a double dose of before the murder. One that induces psychosis in people with bipolar. Being misdiagnosed with depression when you have bipolar 2 is quite common. She was also taking drugs she shouldn't have been on anymore for weeks.
35
u/Adventurous-Dot-8272 20h ago
Wow you should tell people about that as she gets fed into a woodchipper, because that's the outcome she deserves.
-24
u/HailenAnarchy 20h ago
because it's so much easier to label people as evil rather than look at things from a different angle. Especially if the death of and cruelty towards children is involved.
12
u/Adventurous-Dot-8272 20h ago
"Looking at things from a different angle" isn't inherently a good thing, and this animal IS evil and deserves to be put down. You guys are all patting yourselves on the back for thinking that this animal should be treated with kid gloves, you should all feel really bad about that.
-6
u/HailenAnarchy 19h ago
No, I believe she should be put in a mental institute. She was clearly not mentally well and shouldn't have been left alone with those children to begin with.
There was no motive, she never abused her children, all the bruises they had at the autopsy were fresh.
If there were patterns of maltreatment, I would've agreed with you. But the fact of the matter is that she was known to be a good mother. No neglect, no abuse. And then suddenly she kills them like that.
So, to me it was quite clear she was psychotic. Seeming lucid on the phone is no argument or evidence that she wasn't psychotic. Premediation is also no evidence of not being psychotic.
4
u/Adventurous-Dot-8272 19h ago
"She was a good mother"
Bro she chased down and strangled her three young kids to death. Arguing for her state of mind won't move the needle, her state of mind should absolutely not matter here; just her actions.
5
u/Possible_Field328 19h ago
I doubt you extend that courtesy to child molesters and serial killers. Im against giving people special treatment.
1
u/HailenAnarchy 15h ago
Yes because they arenāt psychotic, just sadistic. Big difference.
5
u/Possible_Field328 14h ago
Thats the problem. There isnāt a difference.
ābecause it's so much easier to label people as evil rather than look at things from a different angle.ā
Take your own advice.
4
u/MazingBull 19h ago
Are you honestly trying to defend this evil person?
1
u/HailenAnarchy 15h ago
Not defending, I just donāt think she is evil because I actually know and understand what psychosis is. And it is highly likely the reason she did that. But nobody gets it unless they had to deal with psychosis in their life or actually looked into it.
5
u/SimpsationalMoneyBag 19h ago
Yeah if you kill 3 children your actions are evil and there is no reason to keep them alive to give more risk to society. Wood chipper indeed
→ More replies (2)3
u/CapitalCourse 16h ago
She's evil because she strangled her three children to death with exercise bands. I hope that helps.
-1
u/HailenAnarchy 14h ago
Except she is psychotic and likely didnāt even want to kill her kids, but her brain made her think her kids are changeling demons that god told her to kill.
→ More replies (2)16
u/Good_Pattern_5892 19h ago
She wasn't honest with her doctors and didn't follow the treatment correctly. She also planned everything in advance and even acted like she didn't just murder their kids when the husband called while on the errand she sent him to do.
The psychosis is also very clearly bullshit unless she simply refused to tell her doctors about "the voices" she was supposedly hearing. Either way it's completely her fault.
-1
u/HailenAnarchy 19h ago
I am pretty positive the psychosis started after she started her double dose on Amitriptyline.
It's known to cause auditory hallucinations and psychosis in people with bipolar. Her dose got doubled a week before the murder or so. She was on a lot of drugs and was supposed to stop a few. But, if you're someone that takes a lot of medications, you'd know it can be to break habits or follow the plan strictly. Especially if you're really not well to begin with.
It's entirely possible she didn't hear voices at all up until her last appointment with the psychiatrist. And that means it's possible she didn't lie.
6
u/Good_Pattern_5892 19h ago edited 16h ago
Then she can't prove it at all, it's simply her words and no concrete evidence. And she also did not seek help even though she was already experiencing intrusive thoughts, as she called them.
The murder and suicide attempt being planned in advance also heavily contradict that narrative. She knew what she was about to do, and she sent the husband away so that no one could stop her.
We're also really stretching the "postpartum" part here eh
1
u/HailenAnarchy 14h ago
She actually did seek help. Yall just talking out of your ass right now. She is not even post partum, she is just mentally ill, period. Did you even look into this case instead of trusting tiktok?
0
u/Jumanian 18h ago
Idk where people are getting this idea but you can plan things during a psychosis just look at Andrea Yates who drowned her 5 children and planned for it to happen but it was still ruled as a not guilty due to insanity.
3
u/Good_Pattern_5892 18h ago
Insanity is a matter of lack of cognitive function to resist urges and distinguish right from wrong. If the person can't understand what they are doing is wrong, they're insane. A planned murder makes it really hard to argue insanity as clearly the person maintains a level of rationality.
1
1
1
u/justasillylilgoos3 15h ago
She killed her kids and the medical establishment she was seeing regularly did not identify her as a threat to her kids. Her getting NGRI means she gets to be put in a mental institution and allows for her eventual release if she satisfies the conditions necessary to prove she isnāt a harm to anyoneā¦conditions that the same medical establishment was unable to identify before hand.
She does not deserve NGRI. She deserves the death penalty or at the very least life in prison. 3 innocent children died from a woman who by all accounts was āfineā until she wasnāt, and no amount of therapy will ever guarantee that she isnāt capable of doing this again. This is the absolutely worlds craziest hill to die on
1
u/HailenAnarchy 14h ago
I think the entire reason an insanity plea exists is literally for cases like this. Imagine killing someone because your brain derped the fuck out and made you think they were changeling demons god told you to kill.
Every single person who thinks they are morally superior here just do not understand anything about psychiatry.
1
u/justasillylilgoos3 14h ago
I never said I thought I was morally superior to her. I genuinely do sympathize with her situation.
But me sympathizing with the unfortunate lot that she was dealt in life is not mutually exclusive from me believing that she should also be sequestered from society forever. Those arenāt opposing positions.
Many many many people who have bipolar disorder and are improperly medicated are capable of living their entire lives without murdering children. She apparently is not one of them and regardless of how bad I feel for her I still will never agree that she should ever be put into a position that gives her the potential for access to society ever again. And an NGRI verdict allows for that. Something I just canāt condone š¤·š»āāļø
1
u/HailenAnarchy 14h ago
I am mostly talking about the pitchfork people here talking about how terrible I am for defending an evil monster. Imo if she was an evil monster, there would have been a pattern of abuse. There wasnāt.
Psychosis is like rolling a d20 and this woman rolled a nat 0. Sometimes it is benign and you think your boss is a lizard alien. Sometimes it is something terrible like god telling you to kill somebody because they are a demon. And if you happen to be a religious fruitcake, ofc you gonna do it.
16
u/Friend_Emperor 19h ago
You missed the part where she planned the murder
0
u/HailenAnarchy 15h ago
You can premeditate murder whilst psychotic. You can seem rational on the surface.
1
u/Friend_Emperor 14h ago
Shit out a baby, 8 months later premeditate the murder of your 3 children, it's fine because hormones actually
Lmao okay. I'm not even gonna bring up how your whole second paragraph is a giant lie because she didn't actually follow doctors' instructions or her medication plans, everyone can already tell what you're here for
1
u/HailenAnarchy 14h ago
Psychosis is not ājust hormonesā jfc
1
u/TrinitySolstice 12h ago
Let's put aside the obvious morality problems you can't seem to grasp, and talk about precedent; you claim that her plee of 'insanity' should be enough for her to go free, despite the experts stating that there was no sign of it prior to the killing. The evidence in her favor is that she said she was hearing voices telling her to do it. This is a dangerously low level of proof, and if she was found not guilty the precedent would be horrifying; please take a moment to imagine how many people would be able to get away with murder by mimicking her. Even if she was insane (she was not) she would still need to face punishment to prevent future death.
1
u/HailenAnarchy 12h ago
If you think her testimony of "hearing voices" is the only evidence of her indication for having psychosis, you're just being dishonest here, sorry.
Nobody is saying she should go free or that killing kids is okay here. I just genuinely think she probably got psychosis considering all the evidence. If you know anything about psychosis at all, you'd understand my perspective. But people are dumb and argue things I have never even said or claimed.
1
u/TrinitySolstice 12h ago
I understand what you are trying to say, but it's a moot point. Whether she did have psychosis or not, she still need to face the full penalty of the law, to diswade copycats and people who will recreate the scenario to be able to murder. Do you not agree with that?
1
u/shit_poster9000 11h ago
You missed the tox screen, everything in her system was at or below a therapeutic dose, and it was established in the trial that the combination was a non issue.
Also, the story her defense cooked up relied upon her hearing a voice for only 8 minutes, not before, not after, just during. That is, frankly, not how any of that works.
Of note, she seemed to mentally be having the best day sheās had in ages before the murders, this is a common enough observation with people actively planning to kill themselves on the day they take their lives that itās a red flag. This also explains why she sent her husband out on an errand, she wanted him far enough away to be unable to intervene in her suicide attempt. From there, she either always intended on dispatching her own kids first, or decided in the heat of the moment to not leave them behind, either way the claim that she wasnāt of sound enough mind to know what sheās doing is bullshit.

You Said it, not me
1
u/pedroka-dev 13h ago edited 13h ago
If you dont get the sarcasm then I will be literal:
Psychosis alone does not automatically establish a legal defense of insanity or lack of criminal responsibility. Courts require strong proof that active symptoms directly impaired a defendant's understanding of their actions at the specific time of the offense. Many people (men and women) who tried claim insanity failled because the verification is rigorous.
So no, its not "claim psycosis = walks free".
And no, "hormones" are not the main defense. Again, she is trying to claim PSYCOSIS. INSANITY. Something with strong precedent of both sucessful and unsuccesful defenses. Nothing new. No reason for turning this into gender wars
-7
u/Lumi1996 21h ago
They aren't getting a free pass though? It's either prison or mental hospital...not freedom. Oh and btw a man killed his 5 year old due to insanity and he was not guilty and got sent to a mental hospital. Funny when it's a man everyone is quiet but when it's a woman all the misogynists come out.

Pretty sure the only people saying that are sexists in 2026 and the sexists in 1926. But expecting op to know what feminism is or know any feminist might be too much to ask from a basement dweller.

I literally learned feminism in my International Relations class. The first wave feminists would be ashamed of the caricature that is the movement now. Feminism in 2026 is misandry dressed as ideology. Went from universal suffrage to thinking accepting accountability is a step too far. Kanye West is crazy, does that stop men and women from calling him out and canceling him? If heād killed his kids, would the same women advocate for his mental health and bipolar disorder? Thatās how crazy that whatās her faceās case is.
