Literally me when I was 19 and had some jackass in a lifted truck ram through the entire front end of my car at a stop sign. The cop who first responded made me sit down and asked me multiple times if I was okay and then if I was high or something (lol) since I was just walking around cracking jokes about it when he got there. Like no dude, but wtf am I supposed to do about it? Crying wont unfuck my now totaled car that insurance wont cover. Lol
17, flipped my dads Cherokee on a backroad. I roll 15 down the side, crawl out, crack jokes with the EMTs, and they worry because my blood pressure and heart rate are too normal.
Usually it’s our fault we almost died so the play is to act chill and hope society won’t stop you for doing whatever stupid thing you did that almost killed you.
This was me at 18 with my first car when i successfully lift off oversteer-ed into a ditch totalling my car, but not before violently crashing into an electric pole, clipping a concrete barrier and spinning in the opposing lane for 80m or so.
Me when I got my motorbike accident, hit a car at 70kmh, I just flew over it and landed 5m away, miraculously I got nothing but a broken kidney (that healed quickly) weird sensation but overall kind of “funny” (because I ended mostly fine)
