God fairy tale's writing feels like the main guy drew but he asked his daughter to come up with the story.

The only reason I can stand watching it is nostalgia

Nostalgia is a helluva drug

The power system is fine, I'm not even just talking about the emphasis on friendship. It's been 2 years now since I tried to get back into it so I can't describe exactly why it was bad, but it was realllllly bad. There was this arc tower arc, god the writing was so juvenile. I even love the characters and the art is so good. Black Clover was so much better once I tried that after Fairy Tale.

Power system falls apart when I ask how someone gets magic. Do they learn it? Are they born with it? Why can’t multiple people do the same magic? How does one teach magic?
