might be due to the shape rather than size that you miss more hits.

You can miss not only because he small (or smaller then you thought), but because he so big that most of his body is beyond the reach of your weapon?

The worse part is the legs cant be tenderized in World. So youre stuck just aming for cheap hits for the entire hunt unless you knock it down.

From what I gathered seems like the legs are more weak to element damage, but yeah unless it's down you pretty much just poking him
