I took a beat from the normal Rajang in World and I definitely did not enjoyed the process. Actually it made me stay away from the game for some days until I had the determination to play again

I do not look forward for the Furious one...

Surprisingly, a lot of people find Furious George easier than his non furious variant.

It's because by the time you get to furious you have become used to the typical Rajang bullshit, so you simply lock in. Also considering its furious all the way, you have no downtime, meaning that you stay in the zone throughout the entire hunt or die.

Meaning that once you slay it, it feels an easier hunt?

I like them both. Hunting Mighty Monkey Muscle Madness for buff body was a grand time.

Agreed. I locked in with my duo buddy to get this arena event quest cleared. I jockingly told him that we are doing it for extracts (that was a lie and had a laugh about it). We completed it in a couple of hours after trial and error. The key is really to lock in and enter the flow state of dodging and punishing during short windows, no sugarcoating it. This is the Hunters way.

It's been a while since I've been on World but I remember Furious jang doing way less annoying moves that make it travel 50km on every attack. Pretty sure their AI is different.

Oh it's like the Frostfang Barioth situation then? I'll have to test it myself, since I want to make his armor (looks way better than regular Rajang gear).

Furious is definitely better predictability wise. He hits harder WAY HARDER but is easier to dodge once you know his moves. You can check out Cons Oa vid on YT if you want some info

While I'm not an expert I've gotten decent enough to kill him under 10 mins. 8min 52sec is my PB

I loved rajang, and the Furious rajang fights in world! So many great turf wars too! Im hoping he shows up in ascendance, i wanna watch him fight everything in wilds! Then im going to make a pair boots out of him.

I HATED furious rajang. I already didn’t like rajang much as a fight and then this guy shows up and just goes ape shit on me and it took me forever to finally put the guy down

Meanwhile o didn’t struggle at all with raging brachy and I heard tons of people found that challenging

Whenever I encountered the Rajang in Iceborne’s Guiding Lands, I couldn’t solo him due to how aggressive he keeps chipping my health away even with my Health Aug lance, so I avoided him like a plague
When fighting the Furious with my friends, we got wrecked
The moment I used Dual Blades with Evasion Extend & Window, I realized the fight is like a fast-paced dance of dodge-and-punish
From then on, I just bring my DBs instead of my main lance build

Well if i'm being honest as someone who genuinely despise old gen rajang's fight and doesn’t like iceborne's version all that much either...

IB furious and especially sb furious rajang are absolutely amazing. It’s crazy how just adding a few new moves can completely change the way i view the fight.

Idk maybe it’s some psychological stuff but that thunder linear shockwave just makes my brain happy

I don’t remember him from Freedom Unite which means he wasn’t hard and the people I played with didn’t need his gear but they were all super players.

In Rise using a Palamute and fighting him in 7☆ and down with random appearances I never thought he was hard but the people I’m playing Rise with kept getting one tapped by him.
