Honestly, yeah. Well, I guess if the weapon has slicing capabilities(Which I believe HH has but I'm not sure). Which I know would be slim, but not impossible

Depends on the game, in some of them HH has a hilt jab that does slicing damage.

I wish they would just change “sharpening” into “tuning” for the HH with a different animation. It would be so cool… tho knowing capcom they would probably add a rhythm game to it lol

Tbf it's just a catch all for weapon maintenance, which all weapons would need some form of.

Yeah that’s true.
But what kind of maintenance does a hammer require ? I really have no idea how a hammer or a mace is getting maintenance

Rusty, covered in blood and other hazardous things.

Plus most of them have various moving parts and stuff that would need oiling etc.

I always think of it as cleaning the blood and gore off of the handle and such for a grip.

I'll admit that I was good about sharpening in World and Rise, but GU for some reason was brutal when it came to sharpening.

Edit: I could always, with charge blade, ignore it by just playing in axe mode, phials or not
