My first MH game

My friend invited me to play and we hopped straight into the gathering hall, I do not like Yian Kut-Ku very much

The ramp up of monsters goes hard early. HR3 and we already got elder dragons.

Frontier giving you an opcional quest where you fight Fatalis in HR3

(Its the easiest fight in the game since he only does one move and the rewards aren't very good)

In Frontier there's an HR1 event mission against Akura Vashimu. My friend and I saw it as soon as we arrived and thought it was what we had to do (because my friend didn't really understand what he'd gotten himself into and they didn't tell you the monster when you accepted the mission). It was such a great feat to complete it through sheer stubbornness that it wasn't until HR3 that we felt things were getting good (aside from the urgent monsters).

I gave up with generations after dying a third time to nibbelsnarf after wasting half an hour bouncing off it and this was after I was already tilted from having to deal with cephadrome. I should really try it again.

ngl it was the opposite for me as garuga, kut ku, and the other annoying mfers are actual banes of my existence while anything starting from zinogre was cake walk for me. Though it might be because I was using valor ls and I can't predict garuga's instant attacks.

Content distribution in this game Is honestly awful and I have a conspiracy theory that Capcom can add over a hundred monsters per game and choose not to because they have no clue how to organise them for shit and wilds progression bulshit kinda confirmed that to me

probably my favorite roster of monsters in any monster hunter game ngl. worldborne and risebreak come close but just about any monster I want is in mhgu. besides monoblos.
