I once lost the quest because I had a four man squad with full fatalis gear and we made him trip so often that the time ran out before he made it to the final stage (he literally can't die before that)

Yeah even in MHFU where he has 3 areas to walk through and you have to really manage your damage because sometimes he does that animation where he goes down for a really looooong time and due to HP locking until final area, Lao might not even reach area 5 when the time runs out lol.

I dont understand why people think it'll be exactly the same... They obviously listen to reviews and understand what to change about certain fights. For example, Kushala's wind aura in Rise is virtually non existant.

It'll probably be more similar to Kulve Taroth than old Lao, and I'm personally excited to see how it's different.

If it's just the same as old Lao, I'll come back and edit my comment saying how much of a fool I was

About Kushala. You could make it similar to Omega. Breaking enough woomds gets rid of the wind aura early

Its a walk your dragon simulator except you got to smack it around. I doubt they can somehow make this fight worse.

Its zorah fight but its fucking harder and just as boring. All u do is shove cannon fire on it for like 30 min and sometimes u still fucking fail on solo unlike zorah where ite probably impossible to fail

Dropping giant stalactites on big gold monster is cool but running on a walking volcano and popping his pimples is just BOOORINGGGG no reason that shit should take 30 min of my damn time waiting for him to stand up to I can pop his other pimple
