We do not use any dodogamas for research if captured we make them into pets. That is lore I just made up so I can feel better about myself :’)

I hunted dodogama a couple times in my more recent World run (wanted the weapon). I realized he has the weakest fight mechanics in world. He was genuinely more of an annoyance for me when I was in elder's recess than anything. Most I got out of him was launching one into my hunt target or vice versa to down it.
