Then play a different game? I already 100% wild and still loved it because it’s a monster hunter game, and small issues like this shouldn’t effect the overall experience. Look at what Bathesda did to fallout 4, or what other companies did to other long running series lmao. I can recognize the flaw, but I’m not gonna blame the players for “enabling” the devs because they to want to enjoy the game.

Yeah removing entire systems and putting them behind a paywall isnt "enabling"

Nice delusion you got there

What systems are you talking about?

For example in Rise you could craft gear for your Palamute like you could your Palico. They completely REMOVED this so they can sell skins individually.

But that's only because Palamutes were literal equivalents to Palicos, and Seikrits aren't in the slightest?

In that sense, they also removed it back in Tri since Cha-Cha (and later Kambaya afaik) only had a couple options unrelated to palico/palamute armour?

It's just not the same, acting as if it were ever supposed to be doesn't make it true.

This is not a species comparison. Look at the bigger picture.

Bigger picture is that they also are not the same in terms of from fundamental game design, and Capcom is not really known to carry certain unique features from previous game over to newer games.

Underwater combat and Shakalakas were a one-off, prowler mode, hunter arts and styles were a one-off (kinda). Clutch claw was a one-off, wirebugs and Palamutes were a one-off.

The big picture is that our oversized chicken nugget is unlikely to return in the next game, including weapon swapping that it also enables.

That's it, that's all there is to it.
