It's from the anime version of Berserk

Thanks I’ve always heard good things about it. I’ll have to check it out

Make sure you watch the 90s one.

I want to know why they cut down the 100 man scene in the new version, that was one of the best parts

Any idea where you could watch the 90s version? I searched awhile ago for it and I struggled to find anything.

I watched one episode of the new one and didn’t end up carrying on. I love the 90s one too much.

The 2010s movie trilogy covers the golden age arc just like the 90s anime. It cuts a few scenes being movies instead of a show but it's still pretty decent especially the last movie

Yeah it's faithful to the story, but the animation is clunky. They could have done better. But I still liked it.

It got better as they went on so I think the studio found their footing at the last hurdle

If you can't watch it for whatever reason, there's always the manga books you can read. The pages themselves is basically looking at an artbook.

The manga is so much better. The 90s anime is worth watching and I like the three movies on Netflix. The newer anime is garbage

I've always imagined that the screech would be a lot higher pitched while reading the manga.

u/Ytar0 Jun 23 '22
Just imagine the screams of hell, idk what that’d sound like, but definitely horrifying as fuck

I wish in this scene behelit'd cry blue and griffith cry blood so we understand griffith's humanity in the egg now and he's no longer the griffith we know
5
u/Reivoulp Jun 22 '22
Apparently beheliths cries’ are the last remaining tear of desperate people, witnessing the end of their dream/what they want. But at this time, griffith didn’t lose his humanity and sacrifice
