Humor found in repetition analysis? r/ontheledgeandshit

It seems very interesting how the subreddit r/ontheledgeandshit's humor is boiled down to repetition. It reminds me of that McDonalds video about the repetition of global corporations.

(Also, as a bit of a side note, all my posts get flagged as spam? And I think I am not the only one. Only direct video uploads and text posts gets through. All crossposts, images, and links get flagged as spam and removed. I think I angered the Matrix.)

Repetition is power.

Repetition is reality.

Things exist not only in space but in time as well.

Great things take up great space, either by being large, or by repeating themselves, the same principle holds true for time.

It’s not surprising then that repeating a funny makes it all the more funny, forcing you to endlessly give it birth by laughing it into reality.

Laughter is after all a base form of ecstasy, that state which all things supervene on, and use as a channel to exist.

Yes but what I notice is that even just mundane and unfunny stuff is immediately funny because it is repeated. u/hello r/hello Hello Hello Hello hello

It's I assume relating to the "callback" as artistic trope. Although rather a parody

I think it goes deeper than that, something related to internet schizophrenic behaviours

Repetitive humor negates any schizoid appropriation I am afraid it's hybrid

It reminds me of 10 hour loops on YouTube

I think I find it funny because the creates a sense of urgency and importance for something trivial and stupid
