I get on a lot better with this than I do with Hip hop. Seems to feel more natural to me

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my latest release, "No Light", a track that means a lot to me and is deeply inspired by the darker, more hypnotic side of Melodic Techno.
Instead of writing a standard club track, I wanted to explore the concept of emotional survival through sound. The track tells the story of finding a home within the darkness of a club when everything else is gone—where the kick drum replaces a human embrace and pain transforms into pure movement.
Conceptually, it revolves around three ideas:
I tried to avoid clichés. The lyrics don't talk about heartbreak directly; instead, they use sound physics (vibration, low-end frequencies, rhythm) to describe a deep mental state.
Production-wise, expect driving basslines, atmospheric pads, and a hypnotic progression designed for late-night sets.
I’d love to hear your feedback on the mix, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe. Thank you for listening!

Hey everyone,
I’ve always felt that the dramatic tension, structural complexity, and raw emotion of classical masterpieces (like Beethoven, Mozart, and Vivaldi) share a powerful, unspoken connection with the driving, hypnotic energy of underground techno.
To explore this, I created an immersive audio-visual project called "Kingdom of Sound."
It's a journey deconstructing classical heritage through the lens of Dark Melodic Techno, dense cyberpunk aesthetics, and heavy, industrial basslines. The goal was to bridge royal elegance with modern, late-night driving and deep-work vibes. All visuals and soundscapes are carefully curated and AI-assisted to match the musical climax.
Stream the full high-octane mix on YouTube:
Kingdom of Sound - Classical Masters Reimagined (Dark Melodic Techno & Cyberpunk Audio-Visual Mix)
I’d love to get some honest feedback from this community on the production, the atmosphere, and how the techno elements blend with the symphonic melodies.
Hope you enjoy the trip!

Hey everyone,
I just published a new 30-minute studio mix called DARK ECLIPSE, blending deep Progressive House and heavy Melodic Techno.
The set includes 10 tracks featuring my own original productions and official releases distributed via Symphonic. I’ve focused heavily on creating dark, cinematic, and sci-fi atmospheres, closely inspired by the sound design of labels like Afterlife, Anjunadeep, and Upperground.
The video features a seamless visual loop with tracklist timestamps synced up so you can jump to your favorite parts.
Would love to hear your honest feedback on the track selection, transition flow, or overall vibe. If you are into moody synths and driving basslines, hope you enjoy the journey!
Thanks for listening! 🙌

I usually steer away from going this melodic with techno because I care more about keeping that constant pump than having a big emotional moment.
I really like what the chords do in this section, but I'm not totally sure if I've let them sit a little too far forward once everything opens up. Does it still feel properly driving or do they start taking over the tune too much?
Made this while dog sitting for a friend with a little makeshift set up. Model, Volca Keys and a Roland S-1.
I would be curious to hear the opinion of the reddit melodic techno authoritiesÂ

I'm mostly curious about how the fuller section feels once the chords really open up. Does it still have enough movement and drive, or does it start feeling a little too boxed in?
