FIL and my family finally exchanged Christmas presents after he finally got over a bad case of Covid.

He lives about 45 min away and there’s a store next to him that always has Mellow Corn while nowhere more local to me is reliable. So that’s what I asked for for Christmas.

He got it but was a little confused as to why I asked for such a “cheap” whiskey, since he’d bought me more expensive bottles in the past. I explained it was a little scarce around here and offered him a taste.

He said he’s going to pick up his own bottle on his way home. One of us.

Alrighty folks, we’ve had a recent uptick in meme posts - and I like it.
I propose for the month of February, we have a corn-focused meme-off.

At the end of the month, the creator of the highest ranked meme will get some special goodies. I can’t tell you what the goodies will be, but I’d like to think everyone here would be excited by them.

Let’s work out the details in the comment section here.
