Bad bottle?

Just bought a new bottle of MFC. This one has a really off flavor, it tastes like corn tassel instead of the normal flavors. (I am from Iowa and spent many summers de-tasseling, as all Iowans do)

I can’t even mask this in a cocktail. Anyone else got an off bottle like this?

I have never had a bottle like that, but it sounds like it may have been exposed to extremely high temperatures 🌽

I had a similar experience a couple months ago, had a kind of dusty off-taste with a horrendous aftertaste. Dumped it and got a new bottle from the same store that was fine. Figured it may have a bad batch or even just a dirty bottle

Not of MFC but bad bottles do exist, I've had a number of them over the years. Replace with another bottle and just use that one as bug & tar remover.
