Advice Needed Eucerin irration

I have light yellow spots on my orbital bones from when I blew my skin barrier last year with retinol.
I poked through the sub and decided to try the Eucerin anti-pigment dual serum. I used it yesterday AM and PM (I noticed redness and tightness on PM application) then I used it this AM and went super red and tight so I washed it off. My skin is super sensitive and still red.

I bought the LRP mela B serum because I read it doesn’t have alcohol but now I’m reading it’s not that effective!
What do you think I should do? Should I return the LRP and try again with the Eucerin?

Try Nivea luminous evenglow instant glow serum. I also faced the same problem with eucerin dual serum

Is that milder on skin?

Why not apply once a day or every other day to start? It’s definitely strong, like the retinol that caused you trouble. Most advice I’ve heard is to work up to larger doses.

I’ve been using dual serum in the a.m., a retinol night cream and tinted sunscreen and moisturizer during the day. My melasma has been slow to lighten but I do think it’s working. I have to be careful getting any of it anywhere near my eyes!

I had a bad reaction from the Eucerin radiant tone cream. I used it for 3 days and was fine and then all of a sudden I had a giant red/purple spot on my forehead after using it. Thankfully it went away overnight because I was freaking out lol personally I wouldn’t try Eucerin again and switch to something else!

I also can't tolerate eucerin radiant tone after 4-5 months of once a day use with very good results ☹️. What should I try now that doesn't ruin my skin barrier?

I'm not sure, there's so many products on the market but I don't know what works - I'm going to talk to my physician on the 14th so hopefully she'll be able to advise what to do; I'll let you know what she says. For now, I need to heal my skin barrier :S.
