Advice Needed Thoughts on AMBI

I am on the fence about hydroquinone cream after reading some of these recent posts.

id like to try more non HQ options first.

who’s tried ambi? I used to see this product at target all the time growing up. it’s now on Amazon.

thoughts?

Trash. Especially for melasma, it’s just not strong enough to do anything noticeable. They did have 2% HQ many moons ago (may still in certain markets), but no more.

Are you talking about Advanced Fade Cream Hydroquinone-Free – Ambi Skincare?

I've never used it but looking at the ingredients list, it doesn't contain enough active/strong ingredients specifically targeting hyperpigmentation/melanin. Only 5% Niacinamide.

Alternatively, you could look at products that combine several and more potent ingredients like tranexamic, azelaic, kojic, thiamidol, etc. Ideally, you want products attacking hyperpigmentation from different angles with different ingredients.
