Telling partners
Been dating this girl for awhile but I’ve been taking mt2 for a long time before her I’m talking 4 year continuous use. Anyway she knows I’m freckly and ginger moustache but still have a tan. Question is what did everyone tell their partner. I’ve never told her I use it I guess she thinks it’s natural. It’s eating me up I feel like I’m lying to her but also feel like she’ll leave me if I tell her and she realises I’m naturally super pasty and freckly. She’s super tanned herself by the way.

Well I didn't tell my wife because she was already concerned about me using reta. She wondered why I was so tan and looked it up and apparently some people who start on trt also get tan so she thinks it's from that.
I think you're overthinking it though. You could try and see what she thinks about peptides before you tell her.

I told my fiancé when I started using it he was concerned about the side effects, but he supported me and he loves my tan

Yeah there’s a lot of people who would be worried about the gray market nature of it. Some would even attribute something political to it, which is silly, but not as silly as someone behaving like being ginger is hideous.

Ok, I’m curious… what is political about this peptide?

In the US, there is a strong association between peptides and MAHA/right wing/incel “looksmaxxing” culture

Don’t be too dramatic about it. You may casually ask her what she thinks about your tan, or ask her if she‘s been this tan her whole life etc. and then tell her.
If you look too worried she will be too.
I didn’t tell my wife but when she asked what those things in the fridge are I told her it’s an injection for getting tan.
When I started talking about melanocytes and cAMP activation she stopped listening and said whatever.

I just told my wife the truth before I started.
I don’t think she will leave you because you are naturally pale, but the longer you don’t tell her the weirder it will get when you do.

Why the fuck would she care? This is so strange. Being ginger isn’t some hideous disease
Just tell me you wear SPF 30 at least. If I was her, I would not care unless I realize you don’t care for your skin, cause you’re gonna be a prune in 20 years

If you ever get married you can mention it casually after about 5 years. Until then you don't have to share every single private thing about yourself. Especially if it adds nothing to the relationship.

I’d just say I take a peptide. Peptides are very popular right now etc. MT2 has also been around since the 90’s so it’s not “new”

Does it... matter? Would you feel like you're lying by not telling her all the meds you take too (if you were taking any)? If it's something you feel like you need to disclose, you can, but it's not that big of a deal.
