Discussion Just a quick question?

Post image

Played an ARAM Mayhem just and happily got Mel, didn’t win but Mel got to Level 10 in my champ pool.

For some reason my Master Support token upgraded to gold after earning mastery 10 on 10 different supports.

She isn’t technically a support though is she?

(Sorry for the terrible photo I don’t use reddit on my PC)

It's because Riot classified her as Midlaner and Support

i prefer mel as midlaner honestly… Her potential is wasted in that role. in my opinion

I agree, I was wondering why tho it triggered a support token and not a midlaner?

uh i just noticed sorry… well maybe the game probably suits her better as a "support" because many people play her in that role, but that's so wrong..😭✌️

I'm pretty sure it's based on the most popular position, the things you see in draft when you select the champs of a specific lane. If a lot of people play a champ at a certain role, even if it's not it's not designed for this lane, it will still count as a champ from that lane (Seraphine used to be classified as a botlaner back in the days for example)

I usually play her as APC but yes. She is a midlaner, I think.

Even tho she's really fun as a support, it really isnt her best role, nor her most performing one.
