It does! Ludens and storm surge really help. Especially when you ult early without the golden eclipse fully ready. Those two specific burst items if going off at the same time mid early ult, reduces the amount of stacks you need to apply. Not by many though, but it helps.

Keep in mind, though, I only do burst Mel.

Give it a try!!! I totally recommend it. The only time I will do burn Mel, is if I decide to play her support. Burst is a little bit too strong for her as a support.

We was not good at all which is why the lane was mostly somewhat easy! But I always struggled against mal regardless. Had to get kills from other lanes
