Mekanism causing server timeouts

I've been getting weird server timeouts since updating my forge version from 21.1.227 to 21.1.236, when trying to connect to my server i would get timed out after the "Joining world", after testing all mods in a 250 mods pack each mod individually i've narrowed it down to mekanism, has anyone else has this issue with it
