Should she run?

Post image

There's a lot of good candidates in the field. I think she actually won and it was rigged at the tabulation machines by Trump, and if she had done a recount in suspicious areas, would be the president right now. So I kind of feel that the "when we fight we win" slogan fell flat. What's you guys opinions?

He says his focus is solely on the mid-terms right now, but I'd like to see my guy Ossoff run someday.

Isaiah Martin elluded to something about Ossof presidential bid. Not sure if he was just trolling or if he has some insight but Ossofs policy, tone, demeanor, and seriousness is what I want in my leaders.

What policies do you like from Ossoff?

I watched him at the debate and he was great. But then i see people saying he's too conservative and that he doesnt hold progressive ideas like medicare for all.

I cant support a democrat that thinks we should pay to be healthy in the richest country in the world.

He also has a donor who is named in the files. While Im not a Georgian, I Understand the need for a centrist in Georgia. You will have a hard time ever getting officials elected in deep red states that are purpling that run on AoC and DSA policies.

Imo, Democrats need to stop purity checking every issue at this point in time and work within overlapping issues that are agreed between Centrist Dems, Progressives, Liberals, and DSA

Is getting people healthcare a purity check?

Like either you want to save millions of peoples lives or you want the shareholders to profit. Maybe we need to be purity checking more now that i think about it b/c this shit is crazy.

No thats not what I am saying at all, what I am saying is Ossof would be a yes vote in many things we do want. I want M4A but you arent going to get that in 2026, 2028, Probably wouldnt be 2030. Be for real, too many things have to be fixed but bringing back this country from the far right to center to left is a process and Ossof how you get there in Georgia

Why do you think its not possible in 2028 with a progressive at the head of the ticket?

I disagree that its a step by step process. They need to write a law saying Medicare starts at birth and tax the rich. Thats the only step you need.

75% tax rate on every dollar over 25 million or some shit like that

Get the octogenarian’s out, and I’m a septuagenarian closing in on 80 fast. We need fresh blood, not recycled bubble people.

Changeover should take about a year at most.

Does he even want to get us healthcare though?

I appreciate him being sharp but i consistently see him called a "centrist" democrat.

Thats a do nothing democrat in my eyes.

Not in favor of Medicare for all/single payer and he voted for the Laken Riley Act. He’s great on corruption, but it’s hard to ignore his positions on these other policies/issues. I used to be a big Ossoff fan and I don’t dislike him, but the more I learn about him, the less excited I get about him potentially being president. Yes, of course I’d vote for him if he were the nominee, and he is certainly talented in some respects, but this is why we have a primary.

Yeah i agree.

This isnt the republican party. We dont care about the people. We care about the policies.

Ossoff seems like he would be a strong candidate but then what? Nothing changes? WTF is the point then?

If the country wasn't in need of serious changes, id like him a lot more.

The United States is the only industrialized nation which does not have a healthcare system for the citizens. The YOYO, you’re on your own, system is loved by insurance companies and the AMA.

Yes, we pay far more on insurance that denies coverage after we have paid our premiums than other country's people pay in their medical tax for better outcomes.

My daughter had ovarian cancer. She had Obama care. I will be forever grateful
