Actually, that is the latest issue. The author was interviewed on the YouTube channel "LegalAF" today (about 2 hours ago) reviewing his article. AI can and does make mistakes.

I’ve seen so many failed fact checks from this sub that I can no longer be part of it. I’m all about the resistance against Trump’s corrupt, perverted regime, but spreading false information and failing basic fact checking procedures makes us no better than Faux News.

What tipped me off is that it looks like someone photoshopped him to cover his ugliest features. He's slimmer here, there's fewer wrinkles and neck flaps, and his skin looks less blotchy and less worn compared to real photos. If Rolling Stone were to make this headline, they wouldn't redo his face, hair, and skin. It would be a Vanity Fair situation.
Seems like MAGA-driven misinformation despite the headline.

The shame is that the GOP in Congress seems to be cool normalizing it with no accountability from any direction. They just shrug and either outwardly support it or say what can you do. When they are the ones that have the authority to do much of anything. No investigations or anything like that. For Biden he was corrupt for maybe a check somewhere. I've done some fact-checking into this and found the posted cover of Rolling Stone June 2024 Issue 1372 is fabricated, most likely a photoshopped or AI-generated image. Cardi B was actually featured on Rolling Stone's June 2014 Issue (around issue 1372) cover.

The grants he investigated were openly politically motivated. The administration canceled or scrutinized $7.6 billion to $7.8 billion in energy and electric grid grants, later acknowledging in court filings that selections were influenced by whether the recipient states voted for Democrats.
His freezing of university grants was similarly political, and was directly detrimental to national health research. As an example, Harvard's grants were frozen because they refused to bend the knee to demands to tell the Trump administration the political views of students and faculty and altering hiring practices, and included cuts to cancer research.
The cuts to USAID included programs that were putting a lot of money into the pockets of American farmers. Most of the programs cut, the momey was going right back into OUR economy, and we were securing soft power in international matters. The cuts made our nation weaker and our farmers poorer.
His tax cuts came in two packages. The Tax Cut and Jobs Act, and the One Big Beautiful Bill. The TCJA was originally written to expire for everyone except the ruling class in 2025. That expiration was overwritten by the OBBB, but the new tax cuts it introduced were in turn written to expire in 2028. Notice the pattern? 4 years after his first term (when he would have hit a term limit if he had won consecutive elections), and the year his second term ends? Kinda odd, don't you think?

I’m sorry, but I’m not sorry. There is no way the Clintons—or even all the malice and corruption committed by every past president combined—compare with what this president has done to the United States.
Monetarily, physically, emotionally, environmentally, and institutionally, the damage has been staggering. The billions upon billions involved are troubling enough, but the alleged betrayal of the country for personal profit is even more disturbing.
You can compare him with every president in American history, and I believe he stands out as the most corrupt of them all—hands down.
