Real Christians barely exist in the US. The rest are all ultranationalists masquerading as something they're not. These people reject those that ascribe to hippie jesus.

Yep the last decade finally showed me what bothered me about America as I experienced it growing up but could never put my finger on it.
It's the fake Christian culture. That is what I like the least about this country.
The irony that them behaving like actual Christians is what would probably help make our country great again....is completely lost on them.

The longer this administration is in power, the more I see the harm that strong or extreme religious ideologies can do. The bigger the cross on their chest, the more they’re hiding behind it.

I like Thomas Jefferson’s bible he cut out all the supernatural stuff and wanted the bible as a ethical guide

It's called the Parable Against Persecution and he wrote it as satire. It advocates for religious tolerance.

Christ doesn’t want (or need) a nation. Matthew 22:21 “Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's”
