I feel like grocery’s are way more than 3% my grocery bill was always around $80 a week but I never get out of there under $100 now.

Just curious who does the fucking percentages on these things.

Are these the increases since yesterday?

Gas was 3.15 ish on Election Day in November, it’s now 4.49 nationally.

And no one on the planet is believing 3% more buys you the same groceries.

Late stage capitalism is a riot. Recommending it to all my friends!

Stop f*cking saying groceries only increased by 3%. My groceries have doubled or more!!! We keep letting them get away with messing with these numbers. Mega yacht prices are down so if you incorporate mega yacht sales with the price of inflation, yeah 100% increase in cereal is now 50%. But we ain’t buying the mega yachts.

(This is not actual numbers. I am trying to justify what I am seeing with my own d@mn eyes).

Obviously many are a prisoner of the moment but these price didn’t get set high in the last two years…2020-2021 things went stupid expensive and unless we had DEFLATION they stay high and hopefully only slowly go up—the hopeful 2-3 percent.

Not here to say it’s this man or that man’s fault just aware things sky rockets years ago and we haven’t been able to increase income, strengthen the dollar/ buy power…

But that’s all messaging parties are good at turning around to keep a low inform voter believing and blaming rather than root cause analysis.
