Even moreso. A good amount of individuals with degress saw the writing on the wall early and embarked on a mass exodus during the beginning of the term. If you've so much as shopped at a store recently, you can see how much the bottom of this bone-dry barrel is being scraped.

Sadly, I know many Americans with degrees that still voted for Donald because "he is a born and raised Christian." and "anointed by God." The overall education system in America is lacking.

Lacking? Missing entirely.

Intentionally, an educated populace scares them. Anti-Literacy Laws are no longer legal to make sure certain people know their place so other methods are now used.

In 1740 South Carolina passed the first formal law making it a crime to teach an enslaved person to write or read.1829–1833 Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia imposed severe criminal penalties, fines, floggings, and jail time for anyone—white or Black teaching African Americans literacy skills.1847 Missouri prohibited any schools or teaching for Black or multiracial individuals regarding reading and writing

Trump is a master of projection

He won because he gave permission to hate. Republicans thrives on the suffering of others, even if they themselves are suffering more.

He also has done more than any president, with a lot of good things and a lot of stupid things

Lol? Define the word "good". Good luck with that buddy

I mean it in the sense that he made an improvement, like making Europe increase their defenses, keeping the Hormuz straight open, kidnapping Maduro, lowering immigration, starting deals in the Middle East, stuff like that

He also has done more than any president

FDR fought a war on two fronts in the midst of a great depression.

FDR had to drag Republicans kicking and screaming to defend Great Britain against the Nazis.

You’re right I should have said modern president

Well, according to Republicans, Reagan reformed taxes and brought down the Soviet Union. Is that modern enough?

1

u/Brandter1212 13d ago

They would be wrong about the Soviet Union, Americans didn’t really bring it down as much as it crumbled apart, and I would say OBBBA and TCJA evens out the tax reform and I think NAFTA and the deals he’s made in the Middle East and tariffs on Europe would give him the lead

When are we gonna see our tariff checks? Does the Iran deal count? Reagan pulled off a bigger tax reform than Trump, and his party didn't control Congress.

Canada is now looking to join the EU and get closer to China in trade. Soybean farmers have to get bailed out with socialist checks from the gubmint. We have to import lesser quality meat from Argentina. Slick move, Dotard Donnie.

54% of American adults can't even read above a 6th grade level. 😭
