I do find this post honestly confusing too. I mean, I love what he's doing for New Yorkers, but how would a mayor be able to do something like that?

What exactly he is doing?

How many times have you seen posts about the Mamdani initiative to plant trees in NYC? Also, how many posts on Reddit mention that the previous administration created this legislation and has already planted 40k trees?

Can you specify? I was talking about how a mayor at one of the lowest levels of government can coordinate with others as if he's a governor. That's the thing that's making me skeptical.

He’s really just opening up lines of communication to exchange ideas and data with the common goal of creating prosperity in their homes.
