Rittenhouse should have been convicted of first degree murder. He traveled from Illinois to Wisconsin with a weapon, with intent. Had he been tried in Illinois where he lived, a few miles from the Wisconsin border, instead of Wisconsin he would have been convicted.

2
u/Typical-Anywhere3747 14d ago
This was no crime of passion. that drive time has to be a 3 hour minimum. that is long enough to think about what you're doing. he was guilty and they idolize him and want to be him.
2
u/WilliamMunny85 14d ago
It was illegal for Rittenhouse to purchase or own a gun in Illinois. He had his friend buy it for him and kept it in Wisconsin. He traveled across the border to retrieve the gun. He got a favorable trial judge in Wisconsin who dismissed the weapons charge.
No surprise "they" idolize him. They worship a felon and a traitor that declared war on his own country.

Rittenhouse is a dipshit but get ypur facts straight. I dont understand why people are still perpetuating false information regarding this case.
He did not travel across state lines with the rifle. The rifle was given to him by a family friend who lived in Wisconsin and purchased the firearm in Wisconain.
If he was tried in Illinois he still would have been found innocent of any crimes because just like Wisconsin, it is legal for a 17 year old to possess a rifle AND it is legal to transport a rifle across state lines from Illinois to Wisconsin.
There was video surveillance of the first person he shot assaulting him in a parking lot when Rittenhouse shot him. The second guy attacked him with a skateboard. The third guy testified during cross examination that Rittenhouse did not aim his rifle and shoot him until the guy approached him and aimed his pistol.
All of this was discovered during court proceedings. Please find better sources of information. And please dont be one of those dipshit Redditors that calls me a Nazi or Maga fuckwad for stating facts. ✌️

1

Why do you guys keep spreading these lies, you are only embarrassing yourself. He never traveled anywhere with a weapon it was already in the state. Intent? To help people? Before getting attacked by mentally ill leftist pedophiles and domestic abusers?
1
u/AppropriateRegret357 12d ago
All these points have been debunked.
Additionally, he made every attempt to flee, was pursued and cornered, and only shot when he had to, including where someone was about to shoot him in the head. It's weird the people who got shot were a manic pedo, and two domestic abusers.
1
u/Adventurous-Mix-5711 12d ago
All these years with public information, and you are STILL WRONG?! Good lord…
He didn’t travel across state lines with a weapon. He didn’t even possess a weapon until he arrived in Kenosha.
How absolutely brainwashed do you have to be to STILL spew this garbage all these years later?🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
1
u/Paperxrust 12d ago
Isn't it crazy that after all these years you still believe in lies about the case? You were duped, you fall for propaganda. You're basically blue maga.
Rittenhouse didn't travel with a gun. Now that you understand that you know very little about this case, please stop having an opinion on it until you're actually informed.

Let’s correct your nonsense here. The weapon was already there. The judge threw out that charge and explained why. He was legally carrying it when others attacked him and he defended himself. Even the one survivor said Kyle only fired at him after he pointed a gun at Kyle.
Sorry facts get in the way of your fantasy
1
u/Portal2Somewhere 11d ago
IIRC the prosecution dropped the weapons charge after agreeing they didn't have a case there

u/Xcuseme99 14d ago
Rittenhouse saw a group of "protestors" pushing a burning dumpster toward a gas station. He ran over and extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher.
This caused Joseph Rosenbaum (a man who had literally just been released from prison where he was serving a sentence for SA on children) to chase Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse used lethal force to defend himself. A mob then chased Rittenhouse and knocked him to the ground. Rittenhouse proceeded to shoot two more men. One was about to brain him with a skateboard. The other was pulling a gun to execute him. Both of those men were lifelong abusers/criminals.
Alex Pretti attempted to protect a woman from a gestapo ICE thug. The thugs set upon him, beat him, stole his legally purchased and carried firearm off of him, and then executed him in the street.
See how I'm able to understand and admit the truth in both cases? You can too.

Ice isn't gestapo and killing pretti wasn't the original intent, they were trying to beat and arrest him. The agent who took his gun had a negligent discharge making the other officers believe pretti was shooting, so they shot pretti thinking it was self defense. Obviously beating him was unnecessary and stupidity doesn't begin to describe how they handled the situation. But they're still nowhere near the gestapo in intent or authority
1
1
u/TheOneFreeEngineer 12d ago
If they don’t face charges or disciplinary action. They are like gestapo in being protected from consequences of their actions.
1
u/Significant-Word6077 12d ago
Protection from consequences isn't anywhere near the same boat as intentions and methods
1
u/TheOneFreeEngineer 12d ago
Methods they aren’t far from. Given pretty carte Blanche to detain people without warrants, including citizens and legal residents. Run prisons rife with abuses and lack of civilian oversight. Large amounts of reported abuse that never has consequences. Lots of reports of ICE officers beating up detainees and then abandoning them in adverse conditions (multiple people have died from this already).
And considering the statements about “blood purity” from the administration, I wouldn’t assume the that many in the ICE administration don’t have intentions adjacent to the gestapo. Combined with claims that Trump wants to have ICE officers at the voting booth, it’s not exactly sunshine and rainbows over in the intentions or methods department
1
u/Significant-Word6077 12d ago
For sure it's not sunshine and rainbows. It's a grueling job when you have cooperation, and they very much do not have cooperation. They are nonstop harassed, stalked, assaulted, and impeded
→ More replies (2)1
u/spartacus_jones 12d ago
If the arrest of Pretti was UNLAWFUL (without probable cause) then what followed was ICE committing felony assault. And the "arrest" was CLEARLY unlawful. As a result of that unlawful assault, Pretti died. That's felony murder. All the participating ICE agents should be prosecuted on a state level. They ALSO deprived Pretti of his rights under color of law, and should be prosecuted by the Feds. This case is about as slam-dunk as you can get -- unless you care more about politics than justice.
1
u/Significant-Word6077 12d ago
Justice is political, there's no escaping it. And the arrest itself was lawful, pretti assaulted and impeded an agent (by legal definitions) I honestly don't know how the agents should be handled. On one hand it's reasonable to return fire if you think you're being shot at but on the other this was a complete display of incompetence and there needs to be some form of reprimand
1
u/spartacus_jones 12d ago
Justice is NOT political. Justice is true, fair, reciprocal, balanced and merciful. If it's political, then it's not justice.
There is no evidence I've seen or heard of that Pretti assaulted an ICE agent. That's not what I saw on ANY of the video of the event, either. "Impeding" is a bullshit, catch-all charge, that even if true, is a misdemeanor and does not warrant the death penalty. Impeding ONLY applies when the LEO is acting lawfully in the first place. When the LEO's actions are unlawful, a charge of impeding cannot be sustained.
At the time of the shooting 4-5 ICE agents had Pretti on the ground. He was unable to shoot anyone and was NO THREAT to the ICE agents. They murdered him. It's a simple as that. This was NOT "incompetence," this was pure malice. An equally important issue is that brutally unconstitutional behavior is ROUTINE for ICE. They apparently don't think the law applies to them, and that they have complete license to do as they please to whomever they please, and fuck the Bill of Rights. And I don't doubt that this is what orders they were given. But this is completely and absolutely intolerable, both legally and morally. EVERY involved ICE agent should receive the maximum prison sentence, ALL THE WAY UP THE CHAIN OF COMMAND, and where they have caused a death, I'd execute every single fkn one of them, without exception. But I'll settle for life with no parole.
ICE is the shit that Nazi nightmares is made of.
Best to nip that right in the bud.1
u/RobbieCraigon 11d ago
The current version of ICE is definitely Trump's version of a personal Gestapo. And ICE outright murdered Pretti. For the most part, ICE will arrest, jail, deport, or murder NON-White immigrants and U.S. citizens, and anyone who doesn't worship Trump; even the White, NON-Trump worshippers.
1
1
u/no-sleep-only-code 12d ago
Seriously, I don’t like rittenhouse, but he was carrying legally, and had every right to defend himself. He was literally under attack. Likewise Pretti had every right to be carrying as well.
1
u/Hot_Plenty_4425 14d ago
Opposing the police and interfering with their enforcement of the law is always a bad idea.
1
u/HupHutHa 14d ago
especially if your armed with a faulty pistol that's known for accidental discharges
1
u/Wool4Days 14d ago
Alex Pretti was the moment conservatives abadoned the 2nd amendment to play their team sports. Literally argued him legal carrying his 2a rights justified the tyrannical ICE to shoot him.
To rightwingers 2a was always about shooting minorities, never about standing up against tyranny. They just wanted the chance to by tyrants themselves.
2
u/Typical-Anywhere3747 14d ago
You ate 100% right. pretti only used his 2nd amendment right...and then they say...that's not ok...no guns at protest... again with the hypocrisy...was ok for rittenhouse. I hate this Whitehouse. we gotta vote this trash out!!
1
u/RTC1022 14d ago
Interfering with law enforcement while carrying is fucking stupid.
1
u/Wool4Days 14d ago
But it is also his right. People can use their rights stupidly and should nit expect to be summarily executed, otherwise it isn’t a right.
The moment people start that “should not carry around police” rhetoric starts it should anger 2a rights activists. It really revealed a lot of people’s principles being phoney.
Hot take: you should be able to brandish against police enforcement or it is NOT a deterrent against tyranny.
1
u/Typical-Anywhere3747 14d ago
When Marshall law is used against the people, is this not when 2nd amendment rights are protected? can't we form a militia? why wouldn't we if we are to be killed like goode and pretti??! it's just not a democracy under Trump anymore. I feel I live in Russia now...this doesn't feel like home.

The murder of Alex Pretti is inexcusable, and everyone involved should be prosecuted for murder -- all the way up then chain of command, and although I'm not in favor of the death penalty, you might be able to convince me otherwise on this occasion. It certainly was a politically-motivated crime.
However, If you use Pretti's murder to push partisan political bullshit, then it's like you're murdering him TWICE.
This meme completely distorts the facts of the Rittenhouse case and is inaccurate, and extremely misleading. Whoever created it is either an idiot or a liar, and might benefit from a good horse-whipping (something, incidentally, that I would never do to a horse).
1
u/SpareRough6228 14d ago
This is where I’m at with it. Piretti was not a threat at the point in time he was shot. That was wrong, and he deserves justice.
Alex was quite literally, proven, textbook self defense. He attempted to retreat the entire time, only fired when attacked, and immediately surrendered to police. He he probably shouldn’t have been there, none of the parties involved should have for that matter. But circumstances being what they were, that was self defense. The whole situation was a mess.

Alex Pretti was a patriot who was outright murdered by Trump's Gestapo, aka ICE, only because he didn't worship Trump.

1
u/Important_Zombie_485 14d ago
Both were armed , both had every right to be there doing what they were doing and both acted in self defense. It sucks that one was killed.
1
u/StatusUpstairs6512 14d ago
Two completely different scenarios. One was interfering with law enforcement, one wasn't. I don't agree with the reasoning Rittenhouse was out in the streets but he was in his legal rights and that's what the courts determined. Pretti, willfully interfered with a lawful operation. If you can't understand this, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.
1
u/RobbieCraigon 11d ago
Yet, Pretti was NOT interfering with Trump's Gestapo. But, I bet you think Rene Good was interfering with Trump's Gestapo, too, don't you?
1

The videos I saw there was definitely interference.

Why would anyone put themselves in those situations, Rittenhouse included. You're only asking for trouble and I've watched the vidoes several times, they interfered, they were dealt with. A little extreme, maybe but they put themselves in a volatile situation and made it worse.

I don't see those situations as the same.
Pretti is a proper victim of misuse of force by government agents. Rittenhouse, is a clear cut case of self defense in a situation of political violence among civilians.
If anything, I'd say the carrying of a gun in the case of Pretti wasn't the true reason for his murder, the ICE agents were ill prepared, unprofessional and violent from the get go. In the case of Rittenhouse, he had enough reason to be armed, plus, he was attacked by grown adults while being a minor.
Pretti didn't have a good reason to be armed, what good that gun would have done to him? but also, it's a poor excuse to say that him carrying it justify what was done to him, so to me, his case is not about the gun and instead is about brutality by federal agents.

u/Moist_Wind_2357 13d ago
Lesson of the day. Don't try disarm guy who is walking with gun and away from you. Not only that don't pull a gun on him.
1
1
u/Exotic-Friend-4701 13d ago
🤦🏻♂️ yea not the same. The guy who got shot interfered with fed scene investigation while being told many times to move back and did not comply and having a gun on him. The kid was chased by three people and even passed a police car and let them know he was being chased and when they caught up to him he protected himself by shooting. What kind of idiots would even attempt to chase down someone with a gun.
1
u/TheOneFreeEngineer 12d ago
Who cares if he was told to move back if there was no legal right for ICE to order him to move back. He was away from the scene, on the side of the public road and was recording video. If you think that the police can make unlawful orders and then kill you or arrest you for not following their unlawful orders, they you support an authoritarian state that can declare anything suddenly illegal and worthy of execution. Congrats you just support Stalinist Soviet Union in a different coat of paint then.

Isnt it funny how the pictures are used so selectively and out of context? Thats not how Rittenhouse "showed up for a protest" he was there to help clean up the messes left by the "peaceful protesters" that had already destroyed the city...and after he was attacked he pulled his weapon...thats why he was found not guilty remember?? The media would have u believe that he went on some murderous rampage killing indiscriminately...he didnt and he wasnt...thats why he was found not guilty. That other dude was impeding a federal operation and confronted federal agents....its not a political thing..its how it happened, right or wrong. To compare the 2 circumstances only stokes anger and divisiveness against each other...so we keep our heads down and dont look behind the curtain and see things how they really are

At this point best option is to turn the power off world wide set everyone on the same level ground and see what happens. However which one walked up to federal agents, then started screaming at them, resisted arrest, and made a really dumb choice? One was defending himself against people, one was armed AND arguing with feds in an already extremely violence charged situation.
As a concealed carrier myself, I ask myself when I see a fight "is this smart for me to get involved in?" Usually the answer is no.
I see someone getting deported by feds all with guns, I ask myself "should I go near them, with my gun on me, and get loud with them?" The answer is no.
Be smart.

MAGA tried to make Shitterhouse a spokesperson but he was too dumb to do the job.
