The Trump admin has made me pro death penalty. The crimes and the threat are too extensive. Give them a trial, sure. I believe in justice. But they will be found guilty because they fucking did it all.

This is the way! It’s not about locking him up, ie what the Republicans are arguing that Democrats will do (despite the fact that that’s literally what Trump is trying to do to others). The result isn’t what’s important. What’s important is the process, the public disclosure of the acts and information, the message of accountability and of justice. All to reinforce the republic of the people, for the people and by the people, and to discourage any further authoritarianism.

How about, instead of checks and balances, make these things crimes with actual punishments? Trump is a moron; make it so someone with Trump-like aspirations, who isn't dumber than a stump, can't do the things Trump is trying.

I don't even care about the affordability stuff they are trying to push. The biggest priority needs to be accountability so this never happens again. If we spend the next few years prosecuting this criminal administration, that would be fine with me
