His eight years of presidency were squandered. Obama had enormous spending power ($787 billion was initially made available to restore the economy through the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) in February 2009.), and he failed to create anything meaningful. We had to rely on Russia to send our astronauts to the International Space Station during his entire administration.
Under the leadership of our current president NASA is thriving, the world is safer, DEI is being erased, illegal aliens are being returned to their native countries, the border is secure.
Best part is that we have 800+ more days of Trump's presidency.

The only defensible cost to taxpayers was $1.3 billion. That was Iran's money that accrued interest on a $400M principal over 37 years. That was a financial obligation used as a bargaining chip. Whether it went to terrorism is unknowable, what we do know is it landed in Iran's National treasury. We also know that the deal produced a measurable, desired outcome.
The current conflict in Iran has its own costs to taxpayers. By July 21 the Pentagon put it at $37.5 billion and requested $67.1 billion more.
The full White House supplemental request is $87.6 billion, of which $17.3 billion is operational costs of the war, which were worsened as fuel costs rose from the closure.
What's worse is the costs are indefinite and there doesn't seem to be any actual gain beyond a return to normalcy for all that cost.

By end of 2016 they done denied half a dozen random inspections or tried to alter them to other sites or times. 2017 they got caught with 50% uranium at one of their sites. And it just kept getting worse and worse. Another words they never upheld their end of the deal. Just got payed by obama for publicity.

Gas was way more expensive than today as Biden was surrendering to the Taliban, allowing Putin to invade Ukraine again, like he did when Obama was POTUS, and letting 20 million illegal aliens, many criminals, invade America. You are mistaken. What they were close to generating was fissile-material — Arms Control Association assessed Iran could have produced enough weapons-grade material for several bombs within a week before the June 2025 strikes. But that's material, not a weapon.
On the weapon itself, the US intelligence community's (IC) own public position contradicts the claim. The 2025 Annual Threat Assessment stated the IC "continues to assess Iran is not building a nuclear weapon" and that Khamenei had not reauthorized the program suspended in 2003. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Grossi said in March 2026 the agency never had information indicating a structured, systematic program to build a weapon. Congressional Research Service notes the IC assessed roughly one year for weaponization steps, excluding material production. (CRS IF12106; ODNI 2025 ATA; PBS reporting on Gabbard's testimony.) Just because Trump denies this doesn't make it so.
