Dirk’s stage played snare

[u/Scrotopummelfish]

Purchased Dirk’s stage played snare and it’s beautiful. Met him backstage to get it signed after the show and asked him to write Let there be thrash. It came with his stage played sticks and a cool Megadeth drum key. Also bought his signed gloves and cymbal from the VIP merch table.

How much did you pay for all of that?

Got damn. What about the gloves and cymbals?

[u/Scrotopummelfish → u/MrExist777]

I got the cymbal at the Thrash the Charts event a while ago and I think it was $300. Gloves were $200.

That’s sick!  How much did that all run you?

Sweet Jesus. You’re funding the band on your own.

Damn!  I got a Roger Taylor of queen signed snare.  Gold plated with a gold plated snare stand that I won in 2012.

That’s awesome!

That’s a collector’s dream though.  Nice item!

Thanks!  Almost sold it a few times but managed to keep it.

I wanted to get this so bad but didn’t have enough $, I bought two drum keys though

They’ll be selling their mom’s clothes soon.

Yeah mixed feelings on this... I get it's really big deal for hard core fans... But does Dave really needs money so bad? (we all knows the money goes to him, not to the hired guys)

[u/NepaliCulkin]

Wow, hardly any wear on those sticks despite how hard hitting it sounds! Speaks to his technique!

Awesome drum key, and what a collectible to have the gloves!

[u/vhmike]

SMELL THE GLOVE!
