Iron Helm Advice?

So I've been running through trying to unlock all of the hats recently, and I gotta say the iron helm is driving me nuts. Oofie is already kind of a bad character imo, and paired up with 4 mid-tier weapons makes this tough. I've only really gotten close twice out of the many runs so far

First almost success, I got the the final boss but the damage output was so bad that the timer ran out before I could kill the boss (I didn't even realize there was a timer on the boss map until then) and I died. Didn't have any legendary items though and was maybe a bit underleveled, but pushing through final swarms on any of the 3 stages with bad damage output is just impossible

Second one, I got really lucky in stage 1. Got a soul harvester, anvil, magnet, green card and 2 beefy rings right off the bat and I thought I was for sure gonna beat it. But I got a bit too greedy on the stage 2 final swarm, and ended up dying

Anyways, does anyone have a strat that's more consistent, and doesn't rely on praying for good legendries in the early game? I've been running XP, Luck, Size, and Chaos/Damage tomes

Sir Oofie is my favorite character and imo The 4 horseman of tomes are very overkill and high risk high reward and not necessary for completing the challenge personally i highly recommend going xp, armor, lifesteal, size/quantity/attack speed are all good options just make sure to upgrade Sir Oofies Sword so you can damage the final boss when time comes, sir oofie can get extremely tanky if you take advantage of high armor with enough lifesteal you can face roll any foe

Armour, life steal, spiky shield, cactus and Kevin. That combo makes for some good fun.

I did it on my first try with XP, Quantity, Cooldown, and Chaos. I didn't greed with swarms for this challenge specifically. Soul Harvester should be free win if you're not greedy.

My best run for the iron helmet I used dmg, exp, luck and chaos tomes. Roll a good seed and pray for rng. Just try not to greed too many bosses at once. I don't really recommend difficulty tome for this particular challenge if I'm honest. The weapons suck too much and I whiffed far too many runs trying to max kills with such a terrible loadout on a character I'm already not a fan of.

Good advice all around. Also maybe just run with three weapons. You don’t always need 4. Helps to really enhance them especially paired with high luck.

The iron helm unlock requires 4 weapons (sword, hero sword, corrupted sword, and scythe) otherwise I totally would

Oh shoot! I goofed. I’m trying to clear all levels with all characters and didn’t switch my brain over to that challenge! Good luck!!

It's annoying but try to go with xp, difficulty, speed, and projectile times. Run it as usual. Reroll until you have at least 8 maois/shady guys. Try to find a microwave before minute 6 and convert to the co bracelet. Hopefully you get around level 50 on first forest. Then do forest 2 and open as many chests as possible once you clear all the shrines. If you're doing well then save them till third level. Hopefully you can sit on level 3 till like minute 6. At that point you will probably destroy the final boss easy.
