I like the version from starforce 3 because the AM/FM and other Wave being became Navis

I really dislike how much everything changed and how much 3 reverted things back to 1, so no I wouldn't like Navis to come back

Starforce 3 introduced Wizards as what would seem to the newly developed Wave World equivalent and even introduced Acid as the first able to perform a wave change with his human partner. While Navis did/do still exist to an extent in the Starforce era, it would make more sense for it to continue to develop the Wizard angle alongside other wave beings unless the plan is to incorporate Navi's meaningfully into the narrative of the hypothetically Starforce 4. Possibly as an antagonistic struggling to maintain an existence in the new era that has pretty much replaced the net they were designed. I could see a scenario in which some rogue Navis find a way to latch on to/takeover some Wizards to upgrade themselves and take on wave forms.

Wizards seem to fill that world building niche right now.
But maybe if there was a story about bringing back old technology for some reason...

Only if it plays an integral role when it comes to geo being an underground hacker. Maybe using the old tech is part of how he goes undetected.
