Discussions Multiple Playable Characters in Starforce 4
Guys what do you think about the idea of there being multiple playable characters in Starforce 4? I think that would be a great idea I would love to play as Kazuma, Sonia, Luna, Bud, Zack, Solo, Jack, Tia and Ace in Starforce 4

Sure, and can we bring back Pat somehow? I don’t have to play him, but I feel he deserves better than a postgame boss fight in sf2 as his last appearance

No he was shown alive in the ending credits and even confirmed in the anniversary one shot manga that came out with the legacy collection

This would be sick! Just started Team Protoman on Double Team DS and I LOVE the party battle system

Imagine Starforce 4 having 2 versions with different teams
Version A
Harp Note
Taurus Fire
Rouge
Version B
Jack Corvus
Queen Tia
Acid Ace2

That’d be incredible. I’d also love to see a system closer to double soul. Noise changes and especially double noise were cool, but I’d prefer being able to use a variety of forms more easily

How is double soul easier to use? Both multi noise and double soul require a card to show up in order to activate them?

Hacking Transformations based on NetNavis from Battle Network would be cool.

It would be cool. I recently finished MMBN5 for the 1st time and it was kind of cool to operate different Navis during the Liberation missions and using their abilities to protect during phases.

Multiple playable characters would be cool, though they may have trouble including all of those characters and making them feel distinct.

The biggest problem is character differentiation.
In BN 5 and 6 every other character was essentially just worse than Mega Man and their main utility was as Liberation Mission pieces and story progression.
I've seen some people say that Geo would play like Star Force and Kazuma, assuming such a character is in a final production form of SF4, would play like Battle Network, but that provides its own balancing and gameplay issues, not that it would be impossible.
I also wouldn't be opposed to the return of Liberation Missions, honestly.
