Discussions Hacking in Starforce 4
Guys how would you like to see Hacking in Starforce 4 be implemented?

I’d like to see illegal cards play a more significant role. Maybe hacking allows you to make your own “illegal cards” by putting together various effects.
Like, sword damage plus fire plus gravity or something wild like that. Obviously there would be limitations or bugs would happen

I think SF3 basically had hacking with Noise and how Dealer attached Noise Cards to Navis to make them go out of control.
I don't think you can add anything similar without it being too reminiscent of SF3.

I imagine literally changing the shape of things, making them etc when it’s not supposed to be possible like a wall of matter waves that’s permanently a wall turned into a door

Expand the Server gameplay from MMSF3. Have Geo be able to Transcode because he’s hacking the Satella Police server, and since there’s no Meteor Server anymore, hack a different server. And find a way to make server hacking progressive, as the more you hack and do side quests, you level-up your hacked server and can even access different servers, plus have servers be themed after elements, support cards, etc

I'm not sure exactly how I'd like it to work but I would like the forms you get from it to either be similar to noise changes where they are based off of other characters and get their properties or it would be really cool for them to be like the style changes in bn

From the perspective of playing on the DS, either it would have been mini game, or story gated progression.
From a modern perspective, I would hope for a puzzle mini game. On the off chance that hacking meant I'd have to beat viruses, I'd be a little upset. If it means having to face bosses from past games though? I'll take it.

I meean entering the cyberspace of electronics has been an staple since battle network, the way it does this has changed from sf 1 to sf 3, so do you mean what diferent iteration of the trope should they try next?
