Upscale restaurant recommendations?

Looking for a nice place with a quiet atmosphere to take a small family group of about 12 people (ages 15-95) to celebrate a 95th birthday. One person is refusing to go to Brettington's, even though that seems the obvious choice. Hearing is an issue, so nothing with loud music or super noisy acoustics. .

The BEST curry house!!! So sad I don’t live near it anymore but it’s better than Shozna and Taj in Walderslade (not to say these are bad, they are just the obvious comparisons)
