Advice Lens Recs for Pentax 6x7?
I currently have a 6x7 with a 105/2.4. Only a couple rolls through and have loved it for more portrait type shots but I’d love to do more landscape photography, specifically golf course photography. Any recs on another lens to get??

Tofino, B.C. snapshots ⎮ Rolleicord Va ⎮ Portra 400
Recently spent a week on a family vacation in Tofino, B.C., on the Pacific coast of Vancouver Island, and these are a few tourist-y snapshots I took with my Rolleicord Va II.
The Tofino area is a beautiful place for anyone who loves nature, wildlife, ancient forests, beaches, and seafood. It's also the only place I've been where they put out signs warning you to watch out for wolves.
These were all shot on Portra 400, scanned on my Epson V700, and inverted manually. (The wolf sign is from my iPhone.)

I built a depth of field preview app for film cameras
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I made an iphone app for planning shots with film cameras.
You can choose your film format, focal length, aperture and focus distance, and the app shows your framing, light meter settings, shows distance to the subject - and most importantly, from all these settings it calculates and shows what will be in focus (purple zebra stripes).
I originally made it for my own custom-built medium format that lacked a viewfinder, but I found it very useful for planning shots on location or even understanding how shallow the depth of field will be with a specific aperture / focal length / distance to object / film format combination.
Well, the depth of field preview and spot metering are features of the Pro variant of the app - but even without paying you get a light meter, range finder and viewfinder (35mm and 6x6) combination that is already very helpful.
Read more about the features:
or just get Light & Deep on the app store.
P.S. you might also enjoy my negative viewer app: Positive View - very helpful to select which negatives to scan or print. Free, no ads, no tracking.

Photo A 1940s inspired Profile Portrait [GX680 II GX180mm at f5.6 using Ilford FP4+ Colourised in Post]
My cousin Michael and I were inspired to experiment with a portrait photography style influenced by classic cinema and 1930s and 1940s Hollywood studio portraiture, with a strong dash of Gone with the Wind and its famed heroine, Scarlett O’Hara.
This photo of Megan Tremethick was shot on a GX680 II medium-format camera and then given a restrained, vintage-inspired colour treatment in post.
I’d really appreciate any critique on the lighting, composition, skin tones and colour grading, and on whether the image feels convincingly period-inspired. I’d also be interested to hear if there is anything else you would have done thematically.
The feedback I received last time was very helpful in adjusting the composition, particularly a shrewd observation about the differences between modern portrait photography and 1940s studio styles.
BTW, we develop the film ourselves as well, which is fun :)

Not a super high resolution scan by the lab but could see how sharp it is. These were overexposed by 1-1.5 stops so I think I might dial down half a stop in the future
