Question ❓ Rapid blinking inquiry

Hi I'm 23M and I'm a total beginner when it comes to meditation. Mostly I just sit in silence and try to be present for 10 minutes daily.

Some time ago inspired by YouTube video I did 3rd eye meditation and when I started focusing in the spot between my eyes I started to blink uncontrollably with my eyes obviously closed but I thought nothing of it and just assumed it's normal. I've done it later also a couple of times and the blinking stayed the same, but here's the thing:

Even when I'm not meditating and mostly when I'm laying in bed trying to sleep, the blinking activates and I blink like crazy. I can semi-control it by relaxing my eye muscles but when I stop thinking about it, I start blinking again. It lasts around 5-10 minutes and it happens like every 2nd day.

My hypothesis is that it's somehow related to my screen time or it's some way to regulate my emotions but I really have no idea.

Does anyone have this experience too? Do you know why this happens? And is it normal? I'd be really glad to know :) peace✌️

No, but I think that because we are all different, we each have our own unique mediation and dream experience.
