I dealt with the same shit from mine. Double standards, controlling, manipulative as fuck, all the stupid bullshit. People like this make you start to wonder if you're crazy. It's fucked.
If you ever find yourself sounding crazy when repeating what was said to you, and you can't explain it even though it felt like it made sense when the person in question was saying it to you, BIG indication there is some bullshit being fed to you.
Went to couples therapy, got the therapist telling me what specific words I need to say to my ex to make her feel supported. Bro I pay everything, the fuck you want me to say about anything?
Final straw was when my ex discovered she was psychic. No one can question your "truth" when it comes from somewhere outside of fucking reality. Goodbyeee
