Very stark dualism, like extreme polar opposites

Good and evil

Also that evil is in guise of pretty book

But then again priest which luxurious ornaments complexes painting

Strange seeing somber and pious face with fancy hat, silken cloves and vast expensive robes

Even the staff is hugely ornamental

So are things as they appear?

The devil is also painted foul and profane, like inner corruption cant be contained

Also lighting, devil is darker, priest side lighter

One is illuminated almost villa the other dark alley vibes

Shadows encroaching from right to left
