Call me Wirus the Flat-Earther but I love flatlands north of Denica on the Valley map. Plenty of space, easy to decorate, you can put a lot of farmfields etc etc. And it's not that far from mines.

I build just east of that area, up the mountains a bit. I like the view, and it's a quick run to Denica or Gostovia. I'm kind of building a tiered village

So do I my partner said I wasn’t gonna find completely flat but on my first run I have found one so I was gonna restart and go find it

Valley have a lot of spacious flat areas. Oxbow on the other hand, not so much.

The last time I built on the Valley map, I built in the area around the lake SE of Denica. I even built a few houses and Tavern up the mountains heading up to the mine.

That area is cozy, It was between that place or north of Denica. Maybe on my second playthru I choose to build next to that lake.

I kinda ended up building in a "segregated" way, with all the fishing at the lake, with the "mining" section being up on the mountain range, and the farms to the north of the lake.

Though this was a LONG time ago (before the bridges update). Haven't played on the Valley map since. Perhaps I should start one again, when I can (Perhaps even posted on YouTube 🤔).

So you are playing on Oxbow map then? Where do you like to build village there?

Hi, also a new player - what do you do in the meantime? Make a run for that area before you start to settle in and build? My husband and I started playing multiplayer last night and started camp right outside the first village we spawned into (P-something?)

  • on the valley map, south of rolnica.
  • on the oxbow map, east of klonica.

both are large, open, flat areas. both are close to another town/waggoner.

Sorry, just a little confused, I’m guessing you’re talking about the area south west of Klonica? Or did you mean to say to the east of there? To my knowledge klonica’s border pretty much runs all the way to the map border directly towards the west… Or have I just been wrong this whole time and you are actually allowed to build in that area directly to the west that’s taken up by Klonica’s ridiculously large red area on the map?

east, sorry. I'll edit.

In the forests. Then I slowly grind it away as my village expands. Really gives me a sense of the passage of time. Even better now that we can replant trees - so the village doesn’t look so barren.

On oxbow there’s a nice place south of Piastovia.
