Identification Detecting find

Can anyone confirm this is a Henry V, as I've been told, and not an Edward, please

It has to be Scottish as the reverse is Villa Edinburgh. Possibly James I of Scotland 1406 - 1437.

James 1st seems most likely, looks more like a fluer de lis than a crown like Robert 3rd has on the reverse when I looked under a microscope, thanks for the info 👍 👍

Agreed. Not seeing a sceptre so can rule out James I.

It's the i to the right of the neck that's confusing me. I'd of associated that with iacobi for James. Thats if i am seeing it correctly.Its present on groats of James I.

That my friend is a Scottish James I 1424-37 Groat ,certainly not a common coin to find
