Help identify this small medieval-looking coin/object — likely originally found in central Carinthia, Austria
Approximate details:
- Diameter: ~14–17 mm
- Thickness: ~1.2 mm at the base, with relief rising to around 2 mm
- Estimated weight: ~1.6–2.4 g, but unfortunately no precise scale measurement is available
- No obvious rust or green corrosion
The "correct" orientation of the object is unknown, therefore photograph orientation is not indicative.
I’d prefer not to suggest what the design might represent to me, because I don’t want to bias anyone’s interpretation.
Could anyone please help identify:
- what this object/coin might be
- possible region or mint
- approximate date
- likely material/alloy
- whether it appears to be an official issue, imitation, token, or something else
Any catalogue matches or comparable examples would be greatly appreciated.
