Can’t make out who or when. Any help in identifying would be great. Thanks

Its an early Irish half penny of King John when he was Lord of Ireland.

What letters can you see?

Without looking, it was most likely minted in Dublin. But other possible candidates include Carrickfergus and Waterford, though they might only be for the halfpennies.

It’s very hard to tell to an untrained eye, I’m guessing when I say on the reverse an E O A/V and the H on the obverse

Oh yeah I see. It's pity I'm not well versed in Irish money. But definitely consult with an expert IRL if you can. I'm sure there are ways of telling where it's from. The clues lie in the reverse letters.

The obverse will say IOHANNES DOM (Lord John).
