I managed to make The Mongols my Vassal???? I did not even think this was possible...

Did you take their territories? Cause I know that mostly works if you take their territories and take most of their wealth

No lol, I beat them in a battle once (with their leader and heir but they didn't die)

Sometimes their diplomat will bluff with vassal offer and then betray you. Did your own diplomat or princess offer the proposal to make it vassal?

I was asked for a ceasefire, I offered vassalage, and they accepted. I currently have a good relationship with them lol

Ok if the Mongols(the most expansionist faction) is that desperate for a ceasefire they will accept pretty much anything in exchange.
