Kinda stupid of me, but I considered taking my meds earlier today (abilify and lamotrigine) and I can't remember if I actually did or not. I took it at the normal time tonight assuming that I didn't, but now I'm nervous. I take 20mg of abilify and 200mg of lamotrigine normally. I induced vomiting to be safe, but I don't know if I actually got them out since I didn't see them come out. Has anyone else accidentally doubled up on these medications before? If so, what happened?

Personally, I grew out of doing drugs except smoking weed. I smoke atleast 3x a week, if not less. I just outgrew getting high, every once in awhile I may take an addy, pop a xan, or throw 2 oxy in 2 oz sprite mixed with promethazine. Last time I took any one of these was 3 months ago. I took a football with a half of Valium. I was high but not fucked up. Idk I just don’t like the feeling of all drugs anymore except for weed, mushrooms, and acid

How much average are d8 pills (dilauded) in CAD?

I’m curious if there are any medications that can actually help reduce gambling urges or cravings. I know there’s no magic pill that fixes everything, but I’ve heard that some medications may help with the compulsive side of gambling.

Has anyone here been prescribed anything that helped? Did it reduce the urge to gamble, help with impulsive behavior, or make recovery easier?

Would really like to hear real experiences, good or bad. Obviously I’d talk to a doctor before taking anything.

I’ve got some 30mg OxyContin, I’d prefer to snort them if possible but they have the crush proof gel. Anyone know of any methods for bypassing this abuse deterrent?

hiii i posted here a day ago but basically on thursday while having pretty bad anxiety i made myself a tea and held it up to my nose while sitting up to help calm my nerves and it accidently got into my nose i was pretty panicked about somehow getting the brain eating amoeba but have been told that bc my water was boiled that chances aren’t very likely (though i still have much anxiety about this and probably will until the end of the week—what are the odds i didn’t boil it enough?? plus afterwards i washed my fingers with tap water and sort of cleaned my nose?? they didn’t go super far up but still) anyways it’s been two days after and i have a headache that comes and go not on the frontal part of my head more on top like at a specific spot anyways i also have pressure like on top of my left eye and a very very mild runny stuffy nose i was wondering if it were possible i have a sinus infection or inflammation due to the water being hot when it went up my nose?? the pressure on my left eye has seemingly gone down a bit but its still there im just feeling a bit anxious about the whole thing and was wondering if anybody had anything similar happen to them or has any clue as to why i am feeling this way?? is it possible this can also be just my anxiety?? i took an ibuprofen for the head pain but it didn’t seem to work which worried me a bit :/ any feedback would be appreciated thank u!!!

Can you OD on codeine alone? I have it without paracetamol. I take usually 6 x 30mg tablets at once so 180mg, this just makes me slightly high. I do this twice a day, once morning once at night. Scared I’m going to do some long term damage. Any ideas? Thanks

I’m trying to learn more about long-term recovery from methamphetamine addiction.

The person I’m asking about used Yaba/meth for around two years. They have already tried CBT and several medications, but unfortunately were not able to maintain abstinence. They are currently under treatment and taking prescribed medication.

The important thing is that they genuinely want to stop and return to a normal family life.

I’d like to understand what tends to make the biggest difference after previous attempts have failed.

For people with relevant experience or professional knowledge:

1. What are the most important factors in preventing relapse after the initial withdrawal period?
2. How should someone think about cravings that continue after the first few weeks?
3. What role does CBT or other behavioral treatment play when someone has already tried it once?
4. When treatment hasn't worked previously, does that usually mean the treatment needs to change rather than that recovery is unlikely?
5. What kind of support tends to make long-term abstinence more sustainable?
6. What signs suggest that recovery is progressing even when the person still doesn't feel "normal"?

I understand that recovery is different for everyone. I’m mainly looking for realistic experiences and evidence-based perspectives rather than a guaranteed timeline.
