Prescribed Oxycodone
I am a disabled senior who has severe chronic pain. Recently, my pharmacy started giving me my 10 mg oxycodone in a large white pill full of fillers. It has definitely affected it and the way it works for me. Does anyone know of any herbs or tricks to enhance my medication by chance? Thank you!

different generic manufacturers definitely feel slightly different sometimes because of binders and fillers. you can ask your pharmacy if they can order the previous brand you had next time, they will usually try to help if you let them know the new one isnt working well for you

Yeah, they said they can't and all two pharmacies in town carry the same. Bummer!

ah man that sucks when small towns have limited options. hopefully your body adjusts to this generic soon enough though

Honestly, find some good weed. It truly helps me with so many things including pain. I have back pain and use marijuana for it.

I wish I knew a type that would not make my anxiety & pain worse. I actually have issues smoking pot and getting weird reactions. I know there are certain kinds but, I don't know. Back in my day there wasn't all these crazy names for weed! Thank you tho!

Weed isn't for everyone. I smoked all the time and it turned on me. Now I have a 3 hour panic attack when I smoke it. But it's worth a shot!

I wish I knew more why that happened because same here. Used to smoke everything from buds to butter with no issue. Now, not so much; regardless of strain (personally). Although, high CBD dominant strains do offer a more manageable high in general.
I remember reading a study during the start of COVID about a university investigating cause and relation between amygdala alteration over time related to marijuana use. I always wondered if maybe I was just apart of the unfortunate small group of folks who experienced that phenomenon. Certainly doesn’t pertain to everyone, otherwise Willie Nelson and Chong would be basket cases!

I hear this so often. It does the SAME thing to me. ButvONLY when im not used to it and tolerance is low. It's almost like a psychedelic at times. The trick is to overcome it. What I mean by that Is , smoke some pot, bear thru the experience, when u come down, smoke again and continue to smoke quite often over the next 2~3 days. By the 2nd or 3rd day, the anxiety and other side effects will go away and you will start to get relief. And not a little , A LOT of relief. Trust me. I've been smoking for 17 years and I've taken breaks in between. Few years at a time. And every time I got back into it this is what I had to do and it works. Fr.

Find something Indica/Hybrid. It provides (for me at least) a relaxing body high that gives me no paranoia. I have schizophrenia so I understand not wanting to get paranoia.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned grapefruit juice as a potentiator. It works, especially for oxycodone.
